On 1 December 2019, the Collectors’ Association Singapore council held a meeting at the China Cultural Centre with the Director Mr Xiao Jianghua.
A meeting was held to discuss the “Exhibition of Unearthed Porcelain from the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln”, jointly organised by the Jingdezhen Imperial Porcelain Museum, the China Cultural Centre and the Collectors’ Association (Singapore).
An exhibition of 120 pieces/sets of Unearthed imperial kiln porcelain has been arranged by the Jingdezhen Ceramic Archaeological Research Institute. The program is tentatively scheduled for a total of 60 days starting from June to August 2019.
However, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, all related preparations were forced to be suspended. Up to now, three Chinese New Year’s have passed.
At present, due to the significant achievements in global epidemic prevention and control, people around the world will begin to allow free travel in January 2023. It is expected that a new programme for the exhibition will be negotiated this year in order to determine all matters related to the exhibition.
